What The F*ck Happened To System of a Down?

System of a Down formed in '95, and released 5 studio albums, the track BYOB off of Toxicity winning the band a grammy.

Following a show in West Palm Beach Florida on August 13, 2006, the band went on an indefinite hiatus, which has since become a permanent. Rumors spring up from time to time about System re-forming, but the former members have all refuted these claims.

Since SOAD split, lead guitarist Daron Malakian and drummer John Dolmayan have gone on to form Scars on Broadway, which released their debut self-titled album in 2008. Dolmayan has also started his own comic book company at torpedocomics.com, which he talked about starting back in 2006.

Bassist Shavo Odadjian, which i am undoubtedly pronouncing wrong, is currently in a band called Achozen with RZA from Wu-Tang Clan, Kinectic 9 and Reverend William Burke. Achozen's debut album is scheduled to be released sometime this January.
