Top Rock 20 Countdown - July 17, 2009

Not much of a change this week for the Top 20 count rock down, few songs traded spots but no new entries. The top 5 are still the same, but Godsmack on the charts just for five weeks has taken the No. 4 spot from Saving Abel. Halestorm with their single I Get Off took the No. 7 spot which means Disturbed slipped down to No. 10, Metallica moved up to No. 9 from 10 last week. Chevelle continues to move up the charts coming in at No. 12 this week from No. 17. Cage The Elephant has been getting nationwide airplay with their singe Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked, their single was first released here in the United States and then made a huge impression in the U. K. Green Day moved to No. 14 from No. 12. Seether is slowly moving off the charts with Careless Whisper coming in at No. 17 this week; Trapt moved up to No. 19 from 20 and Shinedown took that 20 spot from 16 last week with Second Chance. I predict with all the new CD’s coming out there bottom spots will move down and go off the charts to make room for any of the singles who are waiting to hit the top 20.
