Top 20 Rock Countdown - November 1, 2009

This weeks Top 20 Rock Countdown brings my Nickelback to No. 20 from 18 last week with Burn It To The Ground, Kings of Leon holding onto the No. 19 spot with Notion, AFI moved to No. 17 from 16 last week they have been on the charts for six weeks, Shinedown still keeping their The Sound Of Madness on the top 20 coming in at No. 16 last week. 30 Seconds To Mars and their single Kings and Queens come in at No. 15 from No. 20 last week. Kelly Staskel reviewed this new single and says “30 Seconds to Mars veers from the post-hardcore direction of its previous two albums toward a more accessible sound.” Silversun Pickups moved up to no. 13 with Panic Switch but Linkin Park’s New Divide and Creed’s Overcome dropped down a notch. Rise Against made the top 10 this week with Savior and Sick Puppies holding onto No. 9 with You’re Going Down, Pearl Jam moved down to No. 8 and Weezer took the No. 7 spot with (If You’re Wondering If I Want To). Nothing changed with the top 5 except changing positions. Chevelle’s Jars moved to No. 5 from 3, Three Days Grace with Break moved to No. 4 from 5, Breaking Benjamin moved up to No. 3 from 4 and Foo Fighters still clinging onto No. 2 and Alice In Chains at No. 1.
