Top 20 Rock Count Down - 8-14-2009

This week Kings of Leon Sex on Fire gets the boot off the Top 20 Charts; they performed at the Lollapalooza’s opening day in Chicago, opening with Be Somebody. Muse makes their debut with Uprising. Their CD/DVD The Resistance (Limited Edition) comes out on September 15, 2009. Their tour in New Jersey at Giant Stadium on September 24th and 25th is sold out. You can catch them In Charlottesville at the Scott Stadium on October 1st and Charlottesville on October 3rd, on the 6th of October they will be in Atlanta. Shinedown makes it back on the charts with Second Chance coming in at No. 20, Franz Ferdinand coming in at No. 20. Kings of Leon coming in at No. 14 with Notion, Feel Good Drag by Anberlin coming in at No. 12 and Cavo at No. 11 with their single Champagne. Whiskey Hangover by Godsmack drops down to No. 10 from 8 last week, Chevelle with their single Jars moved up to No. 9 from 11. Nickelback is moving up to No. 8 this week from No. 10 last week. Green Day still on the charts with 21 Guns at No. 5, the last single Know Your Enemy made a impressive jump on the charts but now have been out of the Top 20.
