August has arrived and promises to be a good month for music. If you are a fan of Slipknot, Staind, Black Stone Cherry, The Verve, Motorhead or Dragonforce, then this will be your month as they are all putting out new albums this month so mark the following dates on your calendar:

Netwavz featured Artist for the month of August will of course be Staind so do check out the info about them and the Featured Video for the month.
Our Turning Point Band for the month of August will be ‘Another Big Machine’. You can read all about them on our site and request their music from our DJs.
This month we introduce our new fun Rock Video Face Off.. Every week we will have two rock band videos facing off and you then use the poll to vote for your favourite every week. You will also be able to leave your comments on which one you prefer and why, so remember to check every week which two bands are up against each other and get your votes in.
Are you interested in music? Do you have a large collection of music? Have a few hours spare every week? Have you considered being a DJ but don’t know how to do it or what’s involved? We are presently recruiting new DJs and are looking for eager, interested people above the age of 21 who are keen to join our training program and become a part of one of the internets best Rock Radio Stations. If you are interested just click on the Contact Us button and send us an email including your contact information. Pass the word around!
While you sit listening and enjoying the music, why not join up and become a member of our website. Its free and only takes a couple of minutes. Then you can take part in blogging with us. Read the blogs already set up, start your own, reply to those of our DJs. You can also take advantage of our free Classified Ads section which we have set up for our members. Here you can place an ad if you wish to sell or trade musical equipment. Or perhaps you want to join a band or are looking for a new band member…this is the place to do so, and its all free!
Another great feature we have on the site is our section on Polls. Here we have polls on a variety of topics. You can also help us to track the main Netwavz age demographic by clicking which age group you belong to.
Ever heard a song you really like but can never remember the lyrics or want to find the lyrics to a new song you heard? Look no further than the top of our main website. Click on Artist and here you will find a huge collection of song lyrics that have been set up. This list is being updated constantly so if a song you like isn’t listed check back again or drop us a line and we will get them for you.
If you are out and about and still want to be tuned in to Netwavz then you can do this quite easily. Simply click on the mobile phone icon on the left hand side of the main website and you will find all the information you need for getting Netwavz Mobile. Now you never need to be without your favourite station or miss your favourite DJs show.
Remember with all the concerts that are in circulation at the moment, get your tickets right here from Ticketmaster. No need to stand in lengthy queues only to find out the tickets are sold out. Do it all from the comfort of your own home and our website!
