What does concert season mean apart from getting to watch fantastic bands? It means perhaps standing in line waiting to snag tickets for your favorite group or being disappointed by sold out shows. Click on this link the minute you hear about upcoming concerts you want to attend and you can buy your tickets online in the comfort of your own home. This is just one of the many fantastic things that Netwavz does for you. While you are doing that don’t forget to sign up and become a member as its free and only takes a few minutes.

Blogging! Are you into blogging? Perhaps you have a bit of an addiction to blogging? Then as a member you can start your own blog or even join in the many blogs we already have going. That’s right we just mentioned blogging five times in this paragraph..opps..six times.

This month our featured band is Drowning Pool. They currently have a song on the Billboard Top 20 Mainstream Rock Chart and are a very popular band amongst our listeners. If you haven’t heard their fantastic cover of Billy Idol’s song Rebel Yell then remember to request it from your favorite DJ.

This month we are very proud and honored to welcome Chelsea Schmid to our Netwavz team as our Media Correspondent.
Chelsea is currently a staff writer for San Angelo Live, a contributor to Good Times of West Texas and a journalist for Rock On Request Magazine. She attends generally three or four shows a week, works pretty much every major concert in the region, and has established contacts in the industry that will be instrumental in her success as a rock music journalist.
Chelsea is highly involved in the promotion of local and statewide bands, seeks to find talent where-ever it may be, and conducts interviews and does show reviews on a regular basis.

Also joining us is Ravaged as a part time fill in DJ. Ravaged was with us when Netwavz first started so we are delighted to have her back with us again.

We also want to give a big shoutout to our hard working DJs and Promotions Team who are the heart of this Station. Without their dedication we would be just yet another station but through their continued efforts we are one of the top internet radio stations today and are very proud of this.
