Metal History

I have seen a documentry on VH1 the history of metal. I was so interested in it I had to share it. We can all debate what is rock and what isn't. And I guess you can do the same with metal. This is one anthropologist thesis on it. It gave you an intresting take on what metal is.. where the roots came from. And although not all the bands on the list I liked. I agreed with most of what he said, that metal got its start in classical. And with the points he made I loved the documentry. If you want to think about the different kinds and maybe find ones you didn't realize there were, watch the documentry or you can go to the website and check it out. It is worth the time and trouble that I promise.
