Judas Priest To Release New Album After Three Years

It’s been hailed as operatic, intense and emotional, and if the album’s title track is any indicator of what’s to come, then Judas Priest’s forthcoming Nostradamus album is sure to be just that.

The record is slated for a June 17 drop-date and the track “Nostradamus” was made available through ReverbNation’s TuneWidget on April 21, where it was streamed once every two seconds and used in 200,000 impressions in the first 24 hours.

Celebrating the predictions made by the 16 Century prophet, Nostradamus is a concept album that explores the mystery around the accurate foretelling of such things as the Fire of London in 1666, the rise of Adolph Hitler, and the terrorist attacks of 9/11. Nostradamus will be the band's first release for Priest fans since 2005's Angel of Retribution.
