up coming shows offered by ticketmaster
Ok I thought I'd try to do a informative blog for you listeners:
I try to go to rock shows as often as i can afford to. Everyweek at www.ticketmaster.com they announce upcoming ticket releases. I use the site often to purchase tickets. I have found the best way to get GOOD seats is to have a t1 connection and order tix online 6 am sunday morning west coast time, the chances are better for getting the best seats at cost plus handling charges.
They just announced a tour featuring Robert Plant and Alison Kraus.
Robert Plant and Alison Krauss take their unlikely partnership on the road this spring, with the duo performing material from their surprise smash album, "Raising Sand."
The pair kicks off an extensive US and world tour April 20 in Louisville, KY, the first of four dates in this country, all of them set in southern cities. In May, the duo will head overseas for two weeks of European shows; details of the international itinerary can be found at the performers' shared "Sand" website.
John Meloncamp is going to be touring Canada to tour his new material.
Jackson Browne readies solo-acoustic album tour,
Jimmy Eat World and Paramore team up for spring tour.
Korn guitarist leaves tour for family emergency, lets hope all is ok with him and his own.
anyhow let me know what you guys think of this update.
Ticketmaster releases new seats daily so I will try to keep you informed. I do hope to see a listener or two at the upcoming Velvet Revolver show here in San Francisco on February 5th.
The Van Halen tour is still going on as well. I have heard they are doing a Great show and David Lee Roth is still quite the showman.
Having recently completed their highest-grossing tour to date, Canadian prog-rock vets Rush are preparing to hit the road hard again this spring.
