Candlebox's Original Lineup Back In Studio After 10 Years

After 10 long years spent without studio collaboration, the all-original lineup of Candlebox has regrouped in the recording room, this time laying down tracks for their forthcoming Into The Sun record.

The Seattle-based band came together in '91, during a time when grunge rock bands like Nirvana, Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam pervaded the scene, and with their first studio release, hit the charts hard, singles "Change," "You" and "Far Behind" earning them spots on coveted tours that would effectively launch the band's career.

In 1993, Candlebox made a sophomore release with Lucy, which was followed by Happy Pills in '96. By '99 however, it seemed the road had ended for Candlebox, and the members split and went their separate ways. The separation wouldn't last forever though, following a Best Of compilation in 2006, the original foursome reunited and hit the road together for the first time in nine years.

Currently, Candlebox has two singles out, "Stand" and "Surrendering," and are due to release album number four titled Into The Sun on July 22 of this year.
