Top 20 Rock Countdown - June 5, 2009

This week Top 20 Rock Countdown for June 5, 2009 brings two new singles and pushes two off the charts. Burn Halo with Dirty Little Girl and The Veer Union with their single Seasons says goodbye to the top 20 for this week. But, as I predicted and I have mentioned it every week since Nickelback slipped out of the Top 20 with their single Something in Your Mouth, there were other singles from their Dark Horse CD waiting to get back in the running and Burn It To The Ground wastes no time coming in at no. 19 this week, they have been on the charts for 3 weeks now, Metallica, week 4 on charts moved up to no. 17 from 22 last week with All Nightmare Long, unfortunately Slipknot is slipping off the charts with their single Dead Memories they are at no. 20 from no. 18 last week. Linkin Park made an impressive move up to no. 13 last week first time on the charts and they are still moving quickly coming in at no. 7 this week with their single New Divide, and I predict they will be in top 5 next week, Saving Abel is finally inching their way up to 5 spot with Drowning (Face Down) Papa Roach isn’t doing as well now losing their spot at no. 2 from last week to Shinedown with Sound of Madness coming in at no. 2. This month we are featuring as our NetWavz turning point band, Cavo and they are at no. 8 this week dropped down from 7 but they made their first debut on the charts seven weeks ago, so there really holding their own, featured artist this month here at Netwavz Radio is Green Day who really had heads spinning at their ride onto the charts now at no. 1 again this week, they have been on the charts for 7 weeks and moved up quickly.
