Submitted by Mistiblu on Thu, 07/01/2010 - 17:46.Wayne Static has lifted the lid on the backroom squabbling in Static-X – claiming bassist Tony Campos quit over Wayne’s wife, adult movie star Tera Wray.
And despite Campos quitting, Wayne is happy for Static-X to carry on, with or without any input from others.
Static tells metalrage.com: “Tony’s been playing a lot of childish games over the last couple of years and dropping little lies here and there about me.
“Like, he said that I'm doing a record with Tera and that's why Static is on hold. And I was like, 'C'mon, dude. I'm doing a solo record.'
Metal Hammer magazine has released a lost track by tragic guitarist Dimebag Darrell Abbott.

The track was recorded by the Pantera axeman, who was shot dead on stage in 2004, with his friend Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society and Ozzy Osbourne fame. It was produced by Slayer's Dave Lombardo and appears on the CD packaged with the latest Metal Hammer, available now.
AC/DC and Priest win Grammys

The Australian giants, officially the biggest-selling band in the world, grabbed Best Rock Performance for War Machine from their Black Ice album while the English Midlands' finest struck gold with Best Metal Performance for Dissident Aggressor from A Touch of Evil Live.
Kings of Leon track Use Somebody was named Record of the Year and Best Rock Song, while Green Day's 21st Century Breakdown was Rock Album of the Year.
Steven Tyler Has Quit Aerosmith According To Joe Perry
Submitted by Mistiblu on Tue, 11/10/2009 - 01:22.Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry has tried hard not to comment on the problems inside his band for the last few months. But he's finally broken his silence and says singer Steven Tyler is out - but he hopes there's a future for the rest of the outfit.
Issues first came to light when Tyler fell off a stage in August, breaking his shoulder and forcing the cancellation of a US tour with ZZ Top. In the following days rumours circulated that Tyler was no longer talking to his bandmates, that he had separate management at odds with Aerosmith, and that he was drinking again.
