Veteran hard rock act Korn has signed a worldwide recording deal with Roadrunner Records.

The band's first release on the label will be its ninth studio set "Korn III -- Remember Who You Are," produced by Ross Robinson, who collaborated with the band on its first two albums.

An exact street date is yet to be announced, although a spokesperson for the label says it's eyeing a June 2010 international release.

In 2005, Korn inked a widely reported two-album deal with EMI/Virgin, which netted the metal stalwart $25 million upfront from the major. As part of the deal, EMI acquired a 30% stake in Korn's overall business through to 2010.

Billboard Top 20 For Week March 25th. 2010

Well here we are again, another week with a chart showing little movement. We have one new entry in the form of Three Days Grace and their song The Good Life which comes in at Number 19. Two weeks ago Paramore and their song Brick By Boring Brick dropped off the charts but has reappeared this week at Number 20. It will be interesting to see how long it hangs on before it drops off again!

Billboard Top 20 For Week March 18th. 2010

The chart for this week shows nothing strange or unusual. We have the same number one, Phoenix joins the Top 5, Paramore dropped out of the Top 20 after only one week and much to Christine's disgust Pearl Jam is still hanging in there.

Billboard Top 20 For Week March 11th. 2010

We have two new entries into the chart this week. Paramore and another entry from Breaking Benjamin. We have the same songs in the Top 5 even though they have swapped places a bit. The biggest mover this week is Phoenix - 1901 which jumped five places to number 6.

Remember to catch the Top 20 Rock Countdown every week with McBratty on Thursdays at 2am est or catch the repeat with Christine on Friday nights at 7pm est.

We look forward to any comments you may have on the chart.

Till next week,

Billboard Top 20 For Week February 25th. 2010

We lose Foo Fighters this week and get a new entry in the form of Cavo with their song 'Crash'. Apart from that, there is nothing of note for this weeks chart I'm afraid. The top four remain the same as last week and are joined at Number 5 by Pearl Jam, who, despite many sayng they wouldnt last, have steadily climbed the chart.

We are sorely in need of a big shake up in this chart and can only pray that it will arrive within the next few weeks.

Billboard Top 20 For Week February 4th. 2010

We are seeing a bit more movement in this weeks chart and it looks set for some new additions in the Top 5 in the next couple of weeks.

Kings of Leon dropped off this weeks chart and we see Skillet and their song Monster make their entrance onto the chart at Number 20. The biggest mover this week was Alice In Chains with their song Check My Brain which dropped five places. The Top 5 remain intact but with some trading of places, however Three Days Grace still continue to reign supreme at Number One.

Top 20 Countdown For The Week Of 2-13-09

The billboard 20 for the week of February 13, 2009 hasn’t changed too much, Shinedown is still holding at no. 1, they have been on the charts for 23 weeks now, but Nickelback with Something In Your Mouth keeps their spot at no. 2 and I’m sure will move up in a few weeks if not next. Papa Roach moved up quick to no. 13 from 18 last week with Lifeline, Buckcherry still on the charts with Rescue me, they were on once before and got booted off but came back, The Offspring got the boot this week and in came Drowning Pool with 37 Stitches, they were no.

Billboard Top 20 For Week November 5th. 2008

This chart will be aired on Saturday 8th. November at 10am est.

The chart has seen some additions and departures since I last posted this chart in September but Metallica remain atop the throne at Number One for another week. However with the new albums due out soon from the radio friendly Nickelback (18th) and the recent one from Hinder (4th), it remains to be seen how much longer they will be able to hold that position.
