The chart this week sees Metallica's single 'The Day That Never Comes' rock right into Number 7!! This is the advance single from their album Death Magnetic which is due out on the 12th. September.
Shinedown continue to reign supreme at Number 1 for the third week and the biggest movement this week is Motley Crue and their song 'Saints Of Los Angeles' which dropped five places.

Finally we have a new Number One on the chart and this week we also have a new entry in the shape of Apocalyptica and their song 'I Don't Care'. There are some big movements on this weeks chart causing The Offspring to drop off the Top 20.

We have one new entry into the chart this week entitled 'Use Me' by Hinder. This is the advance single off their album Take It To The Limit due out on November 4th. Apart from this new entry, there has been very little movement on the chart again this week although Shinedown continues its progress towards number one. For the 12th week in a row Disturbed continues to reign supreme atop the chart but next week could see a change in this if Shinedown makes a move upwards.

It's a very quiet chart this week with no new additions to the line up and just a few minor shuffles up and down the line. Disturbed contine to hold on to the top spot for the 11th week.

There are two new entries on this weeks chart. Firstly we have a new one from Staind called Believe. This is the advance single off their new album which is due out on 19th August and is titled Illusion Of Progress. The other new one is from Slipknot and is called Psychosocial. This one is off their upcoming album called All Hope Is Gone and this is due on 26th August so mark those on your calendar.

Its that time of the year for two special people at Netwavz. No we are not referring to their retirement day..we are talking about Birthdays!! Today our very own DJ Lixxy is celebrating her 18th birthday and one of our loyal supporters Rickymo aka Ricky Ricardo is celebrating his 90th birthday...he is the grand old man of Netwavz.

Now seriously, we would love to take this opportunity to wish both of you a wonderful birthday with many more fantastic birthdays to come. May this day bring you both joy and happiness and wishing you health and happiness in the coming year.

After selling 20 million copies and earning over a billion dollars, Activision Blizzard, the company behind Guitar Hero, think the next logical step for the franchise is to open up an iTunes-like digital music store. “I don’t think there have been a lot of credible alternatives to iTunes, but Guitar Hero certainly has that potential,” Bobby Kotick, chief executive of Activision Blizzard said, adding that “the natural evolution” of the franchise would be to create an online music platform.

There is a bit of minor shuffling about on the chart this week and an new entry from 3 Doors Down called 'Train'. Apart from that there are no big changes to mention as Disturbed still retain their spot at Number One and dont look like moving any time soon, although Motley Crue continue to move steadily up the chart and could possibly be a contender in the next week or so.

This week we see a brand new entry from Candlebox called Stand making its entrance on to the Chart at number 19. Much of the chart remains unchanged from last week with Disturbed still holding on to the number one spot very comfortably.
