Jimmy Page Being Sued For Copyright Infringement

Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin is being slapped with a copyright infringement lawsuit over the band's famous "Dazed and Confused" track, which was released in 1969 on their self-titled record. Jake Holmes, who wrote a song with the same name in 1967, is suing Page, whom he claims discovered the song while touring as a member of the Yardbirds. While the 'Birds never recorded the song, Zep did. The song is credited to Page and has a separate copyright, something he never likes to discuss. Holmes is arguing that the song is his.

It appears that for the first time in history, Simon Cowell and the American Idol fans agree about something! According to TV Guide, Idol fans want Bret Michaels to replace Simon Cowell next season as a judge. 71 percent of their viewers say that yes, Bret Michaels should replace Simon Cowell.

Simon himself even threw an endorsement at Bret during the Idol after-party Wednesday night, according to KDVR.com.

Dennis Hopper Dies at 74

Hollywood actor Dennis Hopper, best known for directing and starring in the 1969 cult classic "Easy Rider," died on Saturday from complications of prostate cancer, a friend of the actor said. Hopper was 74.

The hard-living screen star died at his home in the coastal Los Angeles suburb of Venice at 8:15 a.m. PDT (1515 GMT), surrounded by family and friends, the friend, Alex Hitz, told Reuters.

Former Child Star Gary Coleman Dead at 42

Former child TV star Gary Coleman died Friday after doctors took him off life support, Fox News confirms. The "Diff'rent Strokes" star had slipped into a coma after suffering an intracranial hemorrhage at his home Wednesday. He was 42.

Utah Valley Regional Medical Center spokeswoman Janet Frank says life support was terminated and Coleman died at 12:05 p.m. MDT.

Coleman, was conscious and lucid until midday Thursday, when his condition worsened and he slipped into unconsciousness.

Slipknot Bassist Found Dead In Iowa Hotel

Urbandale police are investigating the death of the bass guitarist for Grammy award-winning Slipknot at a local hotel.

Paul Dedrick Gray, 38, of Johnston was found dead at approximately 10:50 a.m. today by an employee at TownePlace Suites, 8800 Northpark Drive, police said.

There was no evidence of foul play, police said, but the investigation is ongoing.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday. Toxicology tests will be done.

BRET MICHAELS, BACK IN HOSPITAL AFTER SUFFERING WARNING STROKE KNOWN AS A TRANSIENT ISCHEMIC ATTACK (TIA)

Bret Michaels To Appear On Live 'Celebrity Apprentice' Finale

Poison singer is competing against actress Holly Robinson Peete on Sunday's show.

A few days before Bret Michaels is scheduled to play his first concert since a brain hemorrhage landed him in the intensive care unit, the Poison singer will appear on next Sunday's finale of "The Celebrity Apprentice."

Michaels made the cut on Sunday night's (May 16) edition of the show — taped several months ago — which paved the way for him to make his comeback on this week's live finale, where he will go head-to-head with actress Holly Robinson Peete.
